WOW! this is too weird! I spent my day making fabric bookmarks today too! However I did not use card stock, I used two layers of fabric and a layer of stiffener in the middle and then stitched it all together :) Great minds think alike!
I totally just pinned this to my list board of ideas for things to make as gifts this year for Christmas! These are adorable and I'm sure they're easy too!!
These are sweet and simple. I can only sew for small increments of time, so these would be great projects. I like the idea of card-stock to stiffen them. Thanks for the inspiration.

Those are really cute! Never thought of using cardstock.

Did you have to glue the fabric to the card stock or just sewed it on?
Brilliant idea, I love combining fabric and card. I tweaked your idea a bit and managed to whip several up, they will make great stocking fillers.
